Return and Refund Policy
Thank you for shopping at Solar Sporting Goods, L.L.C. Our products can be returned within 30 days of delivery of your purchased product, unless otherwise specified directly inside the product description.
To return a product, you must first Contact Us. You will then receive instructions for returning your product, including a return address. Shipping charges incurred in connection with the return of a product are non-refundable. You are responsible for paying the costs of shipping and for the risk of loss of or damage to the product during shipping. Insurance on high value items is recommended.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Failure to obtain return authorization will result in forfeiting your return. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Guardian Survival Kits
For all Guardian Survival Kits, returns are accepted within 30 days from the time the order is placed as long as the products are returned in the same re-sellable condition deemed by the manufacturer. A restocking fee of 20% applies for non-defective Guardian product returns. All shortages must be reported within 30 days as well. If the item(s) inside a kit is defective, we will replace the item and pay for the return shipping. Only the item will be replaced; not the entire survival kit.
Damage up to $100 is automatically provided by UPS for all Guardian products. You may contact UPS directly to file a claim for damage during shipment.

NOTICE: All Wise Foods Products, and any Guardian Survival Kits that include food products can not be returned to be re-sold according to law, therefore refunds for these products cannot be issued.
SunPower Solar Panels are covered under SunPower's warranty, but are not returnable to Solar Sporting Goods. Please be certain with regard to your installation requirements prior to purchase
For all products, any damage during shipment must be promptly reported within 24 hours both directly to the shipping carrier for resolution, and to Solar Sporting Goods.
If you received a damaged product, please Contact Us immediately for assistance. It is highly recommended that you immediately document damaged shipments via photography as proof of goods damaged during shipment. Proof of damage during shipment via photographic evidence is easier to substantiate claims.
Solar Sporing Goods Gift cards are non-refundable and non-returnable.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If your item is unused and in its original packaging, without damage, we will process your refund within 5 business days. A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days, depending on your individual banking institution policies.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please Contact Us.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a store credit gift card will be emailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, you must please provide original proof of purchase from the gift giver when initiating a return. Upon receipt of an approved gift return, Solar Sporting Goods, L.L.C. will issue you a gift card for the value of the original purchase.
